Patna- A city in a race of being the education hub of the country

Patna is one of the oldest city of India and has seen a lot of roller-coaster rides. Patna is the capital of Bihar and is situated at the bank of river Ganga. The history of this city is decorated with so many architectural and cultural diversity and is one of the oldest city of India.

During the medieval period, this city goes through a roller-coaster ride as the invaders destroyed everything. After that, Britishers came and they started to polish the education system of the state and its capital. Patna University was built at that period and so many superb colleges established under its umbrella.

After independence, the city has lost its credibility in the field of education and the Bihari politicians also couldn't do anything in this direction. However, in the 1960s the education minister of that time Mr Satendar Sinha has done much more to reunite the education system and was also successful in that.

The golden period wasn't long lasting and the pillars of education demolished again. But, after several efforts and roller-coaster rides Bihar and its capital has managed to get some top learning centres.
Today Patna has AIIMS, NIT, IIT, IIM and so many well-reputed colleges. Apart from it, Patna has also grown as an education hub of the country because of the presence of coaching institutions. Patna is running hard in the race to become the education hub of the country.
