Bihar was the centre of learning during the medieval period. The education system of Bihar goes through huge ups & downs and its effect was hazardous for the students of Bihar.

During British Rule, Bihar again gained its lost credibility and there are so many works done in the direction of education. The Britishers established Patna University and so many colleges under it.
